Right now we are definitely in the “Sunday” of the summer. We have less than 20 days of camp, about 4 more weeks until school begins, and I know in other parts of the country, school has started or is about to start. I can’t believe its August already!
July was filled with lots of fun for the Momma To Go Family – a trip to Atlantic City to celebrate the Fourth, many hours spent at the beach and pool, and a great first session of camp! I have somehow managed to keep up this blog by working on it in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. And I am especially thankful for all the great guest posts I have had this month.
Stuff I Love: July 2017
Ironman Triathlon Watch (by Timex). This has been a very outdoorsy month! And this month’s list definitely reflects that! I am working at my kids’ camp, as a counselor to a group of 5-year old girls. So I am out in the heat all day. We are in the pool twice a day. Our activities change every 30 minutes, so as the head counselor, I need to know what time it is! So I am so glad I have this watch!
I actually won this watch a few years ago at the Sunrise Duathlon! This watch is so perfect for active people because it is totally waterproof and you don’t have to worry about taking it off in the pool! This would be great for a beach vacation as well, if you are in and out of the waves all day!
Victoria Secret Racer Back Bra. Sorry dudes, but I have to include this bra on this list. I have to wear a uniform shirt to camp – a tank top, and I hate when bra straps are showing! It’s one of my big pet peeves. So I have been wearing this bra under my tank almost every day (I wash it each night).
Because of the design of the straps, and the front clasp, you will never have to worry about slipping bra straps! And who knew you could order Victoria Secret on Amazon! At such a great price as well!
I’m also a fan of the Victoria Secret Bras where you can either criss –cross the straps or wear them in the standard, vertical way! These bras are very versatile and again eliminate that bra strap showing with my camp tanks!
Hello Fresh. In the past, I have ordered Hello Fresh boxes at random times, just to mix up our normal routine. I usually try them when I have a discount code. But for this summer, with working at camp all day, I decided to schedule Hello Fresh boxes on a more regular basis!
If you don’t know, Hello Fresh is a meal subscription service. I have the vegetarian 6 meals a week plan. So I get three meals, that made two servings each (I have found that the portions are large, I can get three portions out of at least one of the meals for the week).
The meals take about 30 minutes to make. Sometimes more because I don’t seem to work as efficiently as you should! I would definitely recommend reading all the instructions first, before you start!
The meals have been good. They add spices that I don’t normally use and techniques I wouldn’t think of (like pickling onions – so easy!). If you read my June Stuff I Love list, you know we love grilling and chilling in the summer, but Hello Fresh meals have been a nice addition to our summer menu. With of course my favorite, a nice cold glass of Butter Chardonnay!
What have you been loving this July? When do your kids start back at school?

I love boxes like Hello Fresh, but I’ve never tried Hello Fresh before! I’m glad you’ve had good experiences with it, I might give it a shot now! Have a great weekend!
i find their recipes easy and yummy
I have a VS sports bra that I LOOOVE because it’s a racerback but still gives plenty of lift/coverage…aka no one knows when I’m cold 😉 Hahaha
thats hilarious! i thought about wearing a sports bra to camp – but we change two times a day to swim (me too) and the thought of taking off a sweaty sports bra seemed to negate the benefits 🙂
I’ve seen so many advertisements for hello fresh, but I have never given it a try. You’ve definitely peaked my interest. Thank so much for sharing!
I have a friend that does Hello Fresh and loves it, too. I have been tempted to give that a try.
VS on Amazon?! Who knew! That’s so convenient…
I know!
That Hello Fresh meal looks delicious!
I hate when bra straps show too, but oddly only when it’s a regular bra. I don’t care if the edges of a sports bra show under athletic clothes. Weird, huh?
I think some workout tops and sports bras are designed that way… its the style i guess!
Sounds like you had a great month!!
Tough job with 5 year olds but sounds like you have it all under control with that watch. Hello Fresh is a good reward too! Never tried it but may have to now 🙂 Nice to read!
I have been really wanting to try Hello Fresh! I’ve seen great things about them!
I haven’t tried Hello Fresh, but the food looks good.
We have been using Blue Apron and it’s been life changing! I want to try Hello Fresh to comepare the two but man am I in love with the ease and amazing taste of the meals!! Xo

We love HelloFresh too!
Haven’t tried the hello fresh but sounds like a fresh product we would enjoy. Love the racer back bra by Victoria Secret.
I have seen so much information out there for the Hello Fresh – def. looks like it’s worth a try.
I’ve been hearing a lot about hello fresh lately that it’s really intriguing me and making me want to try it! On the topic of bras……I tend to wear sports bras more often than not because I like comfort over those really constricting underwire ones.
that wine looks good!

School starts here next week hard to believe but so true. Given us some great choices from food, drinks and racer bra to check out.
Hello Fresh is amazing!!! I wish I could afford to have it all the time!
I know I am doing it every other week in the summer. During the school year I work nights so cant do it 🙁
This is an excellent list! I definitely need that watch working here on the farm. I’m always getting into water and mud and my last died a horrible death.
that would be another good use!
I have been wanting to try Hello Fresh! That wine sounds delicious too!
