Momma To Go readers know we love our Lego experiences. So far we have visited Legoland Florida. the Legoland Florida Water park and At the beginning of this summer, we spent a day at the Legoland Discovery Center in Westchester.
On both of our Legoland visits we were able to visit new Ninjago exhibits. In Florida, the Ninjago ride has JUST opened, and it proved to be one of our favorites! At LDC, the giant play area has recently been revamped into a Ninja theme! Modeled after the Temple of Airjitzu, the attraction’s new LEGO® Ninjago City Adventure play structure puts guests’ physical skills to the test with more than 20 interactive features including a vortex spinning barrel, a spiral slide of lights, lightning buzzer bars, crisscross maze, vertical rope climb and more, as they fight to save Ninjago City.
Today we were super excited to return to the Legoland Discovery Center for their LEGO Ninjago Days!

NINJAGO DAYS AT LEGOLAND DISCOVERY CENTER WESTCHESTER
If you have not yet been to a Legoland Discovery Center, you are missing out! Definitely add a day trip to your fall or winter family to-do list. My family has visited the Legoland Discovery Center in Westchester several times, and each time we always have a blast. You can read all about our visit here: Legoland Discovery Center, Westchester Review.
Today the Momma To Go kids got to visit for LEGO® Ninjago Days which are happening on September 22, 23, 24, 30 & October 1, in Celebration of The LEGO® Ninjago® Movie™
Baby girl and Little Man were able to complete their ninja training at the LEGO® Ninjago Movie Days at LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester! If attending, you can dress up as your favorite Ninjago character (how popular will THIS costume be this year!) and join the team that saves LEGOLAND Discovery Center from Garmadon’s Shark Army Invasion!
Today we enjoyed NINJAGO themed builds and activities. We were given Ninjago headbands upon arrival! The kids loved the Ninjago den – where they could test their ninja skills in the light game and climb the horizontal climbing wall. Little man and baby girl spent ALOT of time in the Ninjago climbing structure… I literally had to drag them out when it was time to go. Guests who visit during this special event will also have the opportunity to win prizes and attend a meet and greet with Kai, the Red Ninja of Fire.
Our visit today got us super excited for seeing the Lego Ninjago Movie, which opened in US theaters on September 22, 2017 (we plan to go next weekend). At the exit, each kid was given a Ninjago pack – which kept them occupied when waiting for their lunch at the nearby Yard House!
The LDC Westchester is located in Westchester’s Ridge Hill in Yonkers and a great place to visit year round. The target audience is children ages 3-10. In addition to the special Ninjago themed attractions, visitors can see New York’s top landmarks made out of LEGO bricks, learn secrets from the Master Model Builder, experience the attraction’s indoor soft play, score big on two LEGO rides, and enjoy a 4D LEGO Movie.
The LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester is located at 39 Fitzgerald Street in Yonkers, NY. If you can’t make it for Ninjago Days, keep in mind their other special events this fall: Brick-or-Treat (every weekend in October starting October 7 & on Halloween), Lego Star Wars Days (November 17-19) and Holiday Bricktacular (every weekend in December).

My husband and I enjoyed Legoland as adults a few years back and had a blast! I cannot wait until our little girl is a bit older so she can experience the fun too!
I didn’t know that Florida added a Ninjago ride! We went to the Florida Legoland and the California Legoland each one time, and my kids loved it! I think my kids have outgrown our local Legoland Discovery Center, but I’m glad we were able to enjoy it while they were younger.

My son would like this. We still doesn’t have time to take him to LEGOLAND. And my cousin lives less than 10 minutes drive from LEGOLAND in Carlsbad, CA. Agh…
I can’t wait until my daughter is older and we can start visiting places together. I’ll let her think that we’re going because it’s for her, but no, LEGOLAND will be all for me.
I realize this is for the little kids. But the big kid like his lego and always would buy something new to put together and add to the collection.
My kids would love this place! May have to add it to our Family Bucket List!
This looks like so much fun. My girls have been to the Legoland in Atlanta and Boston, and loved them.
