Everglades Airboat Tour with Wild Florida

We are so lucky to be able to visit Orlando Florida often! My cousin lives there, and her kids are around the same age as mine. They adore each other and we love exploring Orlando together. In the past, we all visited Legoland Florida (twice), Chef Mickey Brunch, the Orlando Eye, Aquatica and the Orlando Crayola Experience. So when planning this recent Florida trip, we were trying to think of something unique to do. My cousin suggested we try an Everglades Airboat Tour and I knew this was something my kids would love! We spent the day with Wild Florida and I am so excited to share my everglades airboat tour and gatorpark review with you!

Where should we go on our next BIG trip?

As my readers know, I am always planning my next trip! I do love the planning process and putting the pieces of a trip together, but I also love the prospect of a one-stop shop. Last year, we took a big 3-week trip to Hawaii, which was really our first big adventure. The kids and I just spent two weeks driving to SW Florida (and back) so now I am thinking about something BIG for late summer 2018.

Recently, I’ve been flying a lot. In January I went to Cary, North Carolina and Ft. Myers, Florida. Hubby and I love the thrill of getting a low plane fare- we have lots of great tips and tricks for getting cheap & free flights (Which I really need to share soon!). We are lucky to have three airports that serve our area, LaGuardia, JFK and Islip-MacArthur. That alone gives us lots of travel options – but with all things being equal we always try to fly out of JFK. There are so many options to get there, it’s really the most convenient for us.
