Chester Minima: The Best Hardside Luggage

I got my first real grown-up luggage set for my wedding back in 2007. And those suitcases have served us well for MANY years – but the carry-on size suitcase busted a wheel and has been on the fritz for a while. The big one busted a zipper and I had to replace it on short notice. I had been in the market for a new carry on suitcase, but with SO MANY options I was kind of stymied about making a new purchase! I was so excited to be introduced to Chester Travels, the ultimate brand in hardside luggage. Today I am so excited to share my review of the Chester Minima, a hardside carry on suitcase that I know you all are going to love!

AR Workshop Bellmore: DIY Home Decor

Have you ever seen cute home décor at the store and thought – I wish I could make that?

Well now you can, right here on the South Shore of Long Island! I was so excited to recently check out the new AR Workshop in Bellmore, New York. At their preview night, dubbed the “Aqua Carpet,” I made an awesome rustic looking sign that now hangs in my office. The whole project took only about two hours and I love the piece I created.

What to do in NYC with Kids: Pip’s Island

Summer is upon us, the kids will soon be out of school, and families will be looking for fun things to do in NYC with their kids. Obviously, the city that never sleeps has so many great experiences for little ones of all ages, but for the 10 and under set, you must add a visit to Pip’s Island on your NYC to-do list!

Where to stay in Clearwater Florida: Clearwater Beach Marriott Suites on Sand Key

In 2018 Trip Advisor ranked Clearwater Florida as the #1 most beautiful beach in the United States, and I can understand why! This area, located west of Tampa and north of St. Pete Beach is such a hidden gem of a vacation destination. In Clearwater Florida, there are lots of great places to stay, but if you are looking for an amazing resort – check out the Marriott in Sand Key!

Nat Geo Encounter Ocean Odyssey in New York City

Spring Break is finally here and we are heading out of town soon. But for these few days we are home, I wanted to try some new stuff and explore NYC a bit more. My kids are finally old enough to spend the day walking around Manhattan – without too much complaining! They love visiting new exhibits and attractions – especially anything that involves science or animals! We were super excited to be invited to visit the Nat Geo Encounter Ocean Odyssey in Times Square and include that in our spring break plans. If you are heading to Manhattan, this should for sure be on your to-do list!

Tips for Spending Only One Day at Disney World

One of the things I love about Disney is there are so many ways “to do it.” At Walt Disney World alone there are four theme parks, countless restaurants, resorts, park-hopping, character meals, Disney Springs, dining plans – you could stay for a month or like we recently did, visit just for one day! There is so much to see and do, that no matter how much time you have you can’t see it all. But if you only have a short stay, you definitely want to maximize your time, so I’m sharing my best tips for spending only one day at Disney World!

Orlando Tree Trek: Florida’s Family Treetop Adventure Park

As we all know, there is so much to do in Orlando! Even outside of Disney and Universal, there are awesome theme parks (we love Legoland and Aquatica), indoor experiences (like the Crayola Factory), and wildlife tours a plenty. On our recent Orlando trip, we wanted to try something totally new so we were beyond excited to partner with Orlando Tree Trek for a visit! If you are looking for an awesome treetop adventure park, and/or a zipline in Orlando, we highly recommend a visit to Orlando Tree Trek Adventure!

The Best Aquarium in Florida: Clearwater Marine Aquarium

My kids love animals and are always up for a zoo, farm or aquarium visit. On our recent trip to Clearwater Florida, we were so excited to be able to visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and Marine Life Rescue Center– not just to see all the great sea life, but to learn about how they rehab animals! That’s right, the Clearwater Aquarium is more than just a place to go and look at marine animals – it a working sea animal rehab facility!

The Trolls Experience NYC

Over Christmas break, I wanted to take the kids into the city to see the tree in Rockefeller Center. But I also wanted to do something else, something new (new to us at least) and different. I looked into the three pop-ups that are currently going on, Candytopia, Color Factory and the Trolls Experience. Honestly, we went to Trolls because it was the one of the three that wasn’t sold out for our date and it was close to Rockefeller Center. We had a great time at the Trolls Experience NYC and I’m excited to share our review with you.

The Ultimate Review of Great Wolf Lodge Poconos PA

This fall has been so hectic, I’ve been tutoring a ton, working hard on the blog, and with my son playing travel soccer, it feels like we have been on the run since school started. With some random fall days off, Election Day & Veterans Day specifically, I wanted to plan a little getaway where we could have fun, spend time together and maximize the small break from our daily activities!

Since my kids have been begging, I mean BEGGING, to go to an indoor water park, I knew a night at Great Wolf Lodge Poconos PA would be the perfect destination for this fall break!
