This summer I had to renew my passport, so I knew our end of summer adventure would be a stateside one. Since I’ve planned many Florida Keys trips for lucky clients, I knew I wanted to get down there and explore. This August, we did a split stay between Key West and Hawks Cay on Duck Key, and as always it was an epic adventure. We had the best time and I’m so excited to share my Key West with kids itinerary with you!

This past summer, I finally got the chance to visit Keewaydin Island. I had been wanting to visit this island which is only accessible by boat since reading this article two years ago. A day trip to Keewaydin Island was truly amazing and I cannot wait to share my full review with you and to inspire you to visit this beautiful natural gem in Southwest Florida.
I’m not sure I know a bigger LEGO fan than my daughter – she is an 8-year old master builder! She LOVES LEGO Friends and has an entire IKEA shelf FULL of her LEGO sets. And as you know, our family loves water parks! So, we were so excited on our recent Orlando trip to be invited to check out LEGOLAND Florida and especially to visit the LEGOLAND Florida water park!

Back in February, I stayed five nights at the Club Med Sandpiper Bay in Port Saint Lucie Florida. So glad I got this trip in before the pandemic, and I had a great time at this unique and beautiful property. I had never been to a Club Med before, and as this is the only all-inclusive resort in the United States, I was super curious to check it out. I love visiting Naples Florida – the beaches are incredible, the weather is always great, and there are so many things to do – truly something for everyone. Another thing I love about this area – so many great restaurants. Naples is definitely a foodie town. Since we visit Southwest Florida at least once a year we are always on the hunt for new things to do – and I’m always looking to tour some of the local hotels to help plan Florida trips for clients. On my recent trip to Naples, Florida I looked at staying a night at the Hyatt Regency in Coconut Point, but the rate was over $600 for one night – this was for a weekday in January! Instead, I decided to by a day pass to Hyatt Regency Coconut Point to spend the day using the waterpark and pool facilities.
