Everglades Airboat Tour with Wild Florida

We are so lucky to be able to visit Orlando Florida often! My cousin lives there, and her kids are around the same age as mine. They adore each other and we love exploring Orlando together. In the past, we all visited Legoland Florida (twice), Chef Mickey Brunch, the Orlando Eye, Aquatica and the Orlando Crayola Experience. So when planning this recent Florida trip, we were trying to think of something unique to do. My cousin suggested we try an Everglades Airboat Tour and I knew this was something my kids would love! We spent the day with Wild Florida and I am so excited to share my everglades airboat tour and gatorpark review with you!

Orlando Crayola Experience

I hate winter, so to combat the long stretch of cold ahead, I decided to book a fall Florida getaway with baby girl. We love visiting Orlando – both to escape the cold and to visit our Florida cousins. Every time we visit Orlando, we always find new things to do! On this recent trip, we spent a day at Legoland Florida and a day at Aquatica Orlando, so we wanted some indoor fun, so we decided to check out the Orlando Crayola Experience!

2017 Travel Recap

It feels so cliché to say I can’t believe 2017 is coming to a close, but it’s so true! I literally just sat down to write my 2016 travel recap and yeah, here it is a year later!

Despite a crazy, three-week long sickness, and working my tail off in the later part of this year, 2017 has been very good to me. Especially travel-wise. Which is definitely not coincidental. I have been on a mission to create the life I want to live – doing things I enjoy both personally and professionally. Which certainly includes the flexibility to be on the go!

Work-wise I continued to grow my math tutoring business, I worked all summer at camp and had the best time! Writing and creating this site has taught me so much, and I hope to really expand Momma To Go in 2018. My plan is to set some goals and get myself in a better working schedule balancing writing, social sharing and updating old posts. I’ve been learning more and more about SEO and hope to do some writing outside of Momma To Go!

Last year, at this same time, I recapped my 2016 travel year. A year, which brought a three-week trip to Hawaii, was hard to top, but we tried! So here is my 2017 Travel Year in Review!

Aquatica Orlando Tips

My family loves visiting Orlando! We are so lucky to have cousins who live there – to hang out with and explore all the city has to offer! In Orlando, we are always looking for new things to do, and I have had my eye on an Aquatica visit for a while. I was so excited to be invited to check out this water park on my recent Florida trip!

The first week in November, baby girl and I were so fortunate to spend an entire Monday at Aquatica and we are so excited to share all our best Aquatica, Orlando tips with you all!

Beach Vacation Must Haves

I’m pretty reserved, and normally wouldn’t brag about being an expert in anything but one thing I can say I have down pat!

Beach Packing.

I am definitely an expert in getting a family ready for the beach and on to the sand!

Little man has a March birthday, and I started taking him to the beach his very first summer. When he was 5 months old, we spent a week at the Outer Banks with #thegirlfriends. We are so lucky to travel often to Atlantic City, NJ and Naples, FL; and to have spent last August in Hawaii. But we are even luckier that we live a 10-minute drive from an Atlantic Ocean beach!

We love hitting the beach as a family, and here are our Beach Vacation must haves for any family beach trip!

Unique Things to do in Naples Florida

Most of the time, I write about family friendly getaways, and fun things to do with kids. Yes, I visited Vegas with just hubby, and Minneapolis and Baltimore with some girlfriends, but little man and baby girl do prove to be my best travel companions. Traveling with a 5 and 7 year old can be fun but busy and hectic. I hate the winter. I hate the cold, and the snow, and temperatures that prevent outdoor activity. I love the warm, and the sun, and to be outside as much as possible. So to combat the winter blues, I’ve realized that I need to head south several times each winter.

It’s essential for my survival.

I’ve been fortunate enough to visit Orlando twice in the last two months. Both trips were awesome and I love that we got to experience some of the lesser known attractions. Yes, most people head to Orlando for Disney or Universal but there are lots of things to do in Orlando besides Walt Disney World!

Legoland Florida Review

I’m staring out the window at a full on blizzard and reminiscing about our trip to Orlando a mere two weeks ago! If you checked out my Chef Mickey review, you know that baby girl and I were in Orlando to visit family. A full-on Disney day wasn’t in the cards for us (plus I would have felt bad going to Disney without little man). But we did do a day to trip to Legoland Florida– and it was awesome! I highly recommend adding a day at Legoland to your Central Florida itinerary! Here is my Legoland Florida Review:

Chef Mickey Review

Last weekend, baby girl and I took a much-needed break to some warm weather. We spent five days in Orlando, Florida with my cousin and her three kids! Now when people think Orlando, naturally, they think of Disney World. And believe me, Disney World is amazing! And tiring! And expensive! So on this trip we took a mellower jaunt to the Greatest Place on Earth – a character meal at Chef Mickey Brunch! If you are short on time, or funds, checking out a character meal is a great way to experience the park in a more low key way. I highly recommend this, so I am so excited to share my Chef Mickey Review!
