Aruba is a wonderful island. In fact they call it One Happy Island. It’s a great year round destination as the weather is fantastic 365 days a year. It is outside of the hurricane belt, and is considered one of the safest countries in the Caribbean. There are so many great places to stay in Aruba, both hotels and all-inclusive resorts. Keep reading to learn more about the best hotels in Aruba. The Best Hotels in Aruba
There are so many great hotels in Aruba! Most of the big hotels can be found in the high-rise section, along Palm Beach. There are also some all-inclusive hotels in this area, timeshares, and you will also find some nice hotels down in Eagle Beach and then down in Druif Beach.
Choosing the best one for you, you have to consider your travel style, budget and how much space you need. Also what type of amenities you are looking for in a hotel!
High Rise Hotels in Aruba
Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino
The Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort and Casino is honestly my favorite. It’s on the longest stretch of beach and in the best location on the strip. It is undergoing a major enhancement, adding more rooms, a rooftop terrace, and a brand new restaurant. The existing rooms in the original three towers have been recently updated.
Hilton Aruba also has many connecting rooms which is great for families of five or more. Hilton Aruba has two pools, a few restaurants, parrots on site, and a Vegas style casino.
Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino
The Aruba Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino is on a great stretch of beach, although a little further from the shops and restaurants. This hotel has a beautiful lobby, a big casino, and some nice restaurants. Definitely one of my top picks along Palm Beach.
Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Spa & Casino
The Hyatt Regency Aruba tends to be the priciest of the Hilton/Marriott/Hyatt options. But it is in a great location on a beautiful beach close to everything on the strip. The Hyatt Regency Aruba has family rooms with bunk beds that can sleep up to six guests. This hotel also has several restaurants, and a large casino.
This hotel also has a small waterslide and adults only pool area. One negative though is that most of the rooms here do not have full balconies, just Juliet balconies.
The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba
The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba is at the far end of Palm Beach. The beach here is not as pretty as some of the other hotel options, and for this reason, I’m not sure that Ritz-Carlton is really the best hotel in Aruba. I am sure the service at the Ritz-Carlton Aruba is incredible, but the location of the Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt are a little more central and the price point a little bit lower.
The St. Regis Aruba Resort
The St. Regis Aruba Resort is at the south end of Palm Beach. This resort is a new construction and has recently opened. The beach here is small, but the pool area is amazing and the rooms are all modern and new. The St. Regis Aruba Resort also has a casino on site.
Radisson Blu Aruba
If you are looking to ball on a budget, consider a stay the Radisson Blu Aruba. Radisson Blu is a chain of hotels, most commonly found in European cities. This was previously a condo complex so all of the rooms are larger and some have a kitchen, and washer and dryer. There is an infinity rooftop pool.
The Radisson Blu is located a block off the beach, but there are beach chairs available for Radisson Blu Aruba guests in between Moomba Beach Bar and the Marriott Surf Club.
Holiday Inn Resort Aruba – Beach Resort and Casino
A budget friendly option, if you were looking for a place to hang your hat, on a great beach, and a great price consider a stay the Holiday Inn Resort Aruba. This resort is pretty basic, the rooms are simple, but they do offer a regular hotel stay or an all-inclusive plan. And you really can’t beat the location of this resort.

Low Rise Hotels on Eagle Beach, Aruba
Further south, you have Eagle Beach, which was recently voted one of the best beaches in the world! There are a few hotels over here, as well as some condo complexes.
JOIA Aruba by Iberostar
JOIA Aruba by Iberostar is another recently opened resort. This hotel is across the street from the beach, but there are beach services available.
I love that this hotel offers both swim out suites and butler service, not something you see often in Aruba resorts.
It is confusing because in other locations throughout the Caribbean, Iberostar is a chain of all-inclusive resorts (You know we loved the Iberostar Selection Cancun). And their JOIA brand is adults only in other locations – but to clarify this resort is not all-inclusive (You can opt for a breakfast included rate) and is an all-ages resort.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Aruba Resort
Possibly one of the best values in Aruba, this all suites hotel offers all guests a made to order breakfast, and evening reception with cocktails. The Embassy Suites Aruba is a new resort, also across the street from the beach. There’s a tunnel that you can access to get over to the beach or you find beach chairs, and beach facilities.
Embassy Suites Aruba Pro Tip: Opt for the nature view rooms which faces the bird sanctuary!
Boutique Hotels in Aruba
There are some great boutique hotels in Aruba, no need to stay at one of the large resorts!
Boardwalk Boutique Hotel
This is a really cute, adults only hotel that offers residence style units. The Boardwalk Boutique Hotel is not on the beach, but they have a slice of beach carved out for Boardwalk Guests – in between the Marriott Stellaris and the Ritz Carlton Aruba.
Aruba Ocean Villas
Yes, there are overwater bungalows in Aruba. This adult only resort has several unique accommodations, including eight over water units. And Aruba Ocean Villas are expanding. This resort offers a breakfast rate and also a meal plan. There are also beach bungalows as well.
Such a unique option, this resort sells out so be sure to book way in advance if you’re interested in Aruba Ocean Villas.
Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort
I will confess I’ve never sent anyone this to this resort because there’s never any availability. Bucuti & Tara Beach Resort is such a high demand, adults only, resort on a gorgeous beach with great food and great service. This would be a perfect option for an Aruba honeymoon or a romantic getaway.
Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa
This hotel is down in Eagle Beach and prides itself as the number one wellness hotel in Aruba. On a gorgeous stretch of beach, with just 72 rooms, Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa guests can opt for an all-inclusive rate, breakfast only, or room only.
If you stay 4+ nights, your all-inclusive program includes one dinner off property! And yes, guests who book their Aruba vacations with me do get a long, curated list of all the best restaurants! Click here to get started on your Aruba vacation.
All Inclusive Hotels in Aruba
There are fewer debates more decisive then whether or not to do an all-inclusive in Aruba. There are so many great local restaurants on the island, so some will argue that by staying at an all-inclusive you are missing out on the culinary scene. BUT if you look at the prices, All Inclusive is such a great value – you will even have room in your budget for a dinner or two out because your other meals, drinks, and activities/entertainment are included at your all-inclusive resort!
Hotel RIU Palace Aruba
This is a family friendly all-inclusive resort on Palm Beach. Hotel RIU Palace Aruba resort is located on a great stretch of beach, with infinity pools right on the sand.
This is the same brand you come to know and love in many other Caribbean locations. I like that this resort offers two bedroom suites, which are guaranteed connecting rooms for families.
Hotel RIU Palace Antilles
Hotel RIU Palace Antilles is the adults only property in the RIU complex. Located next-door to the Palace resort adult guests have access to both sides.
RIU Palace Antilles PRO TIP: Be sure to check out the famous RIU Party!
Barcelo Aruba – All Inclusive
Barcelo Aruba is an all-inclusive resort for families on a low budget. This resort is on a great stretch of beach, but the rooms are dated, and the food is probably what you would expected from a three star resort. Personally, I think there are better options than the Barcelo Aruba.
Divi Aruba All Inclusive Resort
The Divi Aruba All-Inclusive Resort is located down in Druif Beach. This is a lovely boutique property on a very nice stretch of sand and it shares privileges with the Tamarijn Resort next door.
I send lots of folks to this resort and always rave reviews, especially about the food and beach. There are golf carts to take you around the property and over to the Alhambra Casino.
Tamarijn Aruba All Inclusive Resort
The Tamarijn Aruba is also on Druif beach. It’s adjacent to the Divi Aruba and guests can share facilities. The rooms here are all oceanfront although the beach, although in front of the resort is mostly rocky. But guests can use the beach that separates the resort from the Divi, which is lovely and sandy.
This is a large complex, with lots to offer. Definitely one to consider for your all inclusive vacation in Aruba.
Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort
The Divi Dutch Village Beach Resort is located behind the Tamarijn. Guests can use the beach at the Divi all inclusive. You can book this resort as a regular hotel, or with the all-inclusive plan. All-inclusive guests have full access to all four resorts in the complex, including many restaurants.
Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort
Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort is located behind the other three Divi resorts, adjacent to the Divi Golf course. This is a nine hole golf course. Greens fees are included at certain times of the day for guests staying at the Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort on the all-inclusive rate. This is another resort that offers a regular rate or all-inclusive plan. This resort also offers spacious one-bedroom condo style units.
Time Share Hotels in Aruba
There are several times share hotels in Aruba. Staying at a time share hotel in Aruba can be a good way to get a larger space, and save some money, but remember a timeshare hotels come with their own set of drawbacks.
Timeshare hotels do not have the same amenities that many hotels do. For example, you might not receive daily housekeeping, might have to launder your own towels, and take out your own garbage. Also timeshare hotels don’t always have the same number and quality of full service restaurants on site.
Also beware when you book a bargain basement rate to stay at a timeshare hotel. You will be expected to sit through a high-pressure, long, timeshare sales presentation. It is not unheard of for the timeshare reps to keep calling your room to harass you to purchase an expensive timeshare. Most people who invest in timeshares end up regretting it.
Timeshare hotels in Aruba include the Marriott Surf club, the Marriott Ocean club, the Playa Linda Resort, and the Divi Phoenix Beach.
A trip to Aruba is a great vacation. Aruba offers the best location for guests who want year-round good weather, hot weather, and enjoy great restaurants and nightlife. This is a beach lovers paradise. If you’re looking to book an Aruba vacation, or any Caribbean vacation be sure to reach out. I get a great package rates on many of these hotels and I know all the resorts. I can help you find the best one for you!
