I love visiting Naples Florida – the beaches are incredible, the weather is always great, and there are so many things to do – truly something for everyone. Another thing I love about this area – so many great restaurants. Naples is definitely a foodie town. And on top of delicious meals to be had, so there are so many great Naples restaurants on the water. That’s right, so many accessible spots for beachfront dining, and meals with a sunset view!

It’s my favorite time of year – oh wait that’s summer. Okay my favorite time of the non-summer part of the year – time for our annual family trip to Southwest Florida! Long time readers know that’s my happy place. I mean there are so many great things to do in Naples, fun stuff in Ft. Myers and so many unique things to do in Southwest Florida. But do you know what I really love about this area – the beaches. Some of the best in the world, and right here in the good ol’ USA. Since we visit Southwest Florida at least once a year we are always on the hunt for new things to do – and I’m always looking to tour some of the local hotels to help plan Florida trips for clients. On my recent trip to Naples, Florida I looked at staying a night at the Hyatt Regency in Coconut Point, but the rate was over $600 for one night – this was for a weekday in January! Instead, I decided to by a day pass to Hyatt Regency Coconut Point to spend the day using the waterpark and pool facilities. Plan your Perfect Beach Vacation at the Alden Suites St. Pete

Last year, my awesome group of girlfriends organized a 30+ person winter, family getaway for us to the gulf coast of Florida. We all had THE BEST time, and the main reason we had such a blast was we stayed at an awesome resort that was perfect for our group! This great property was the Alden Suites Beachfront Resort located in St. Pete Beach, Florida!

Tips for Spending Only One Day at Disney World

One of the things I love about Disney is there are so many ways “to do it.” At Walt Disney World alone there are four theme parks, countless restaurants, resorts, park-hopping, character meals, Disney Springs, dining plans – you could stay for a month or like we recently did, visit just for one day! There is so much to see and do, that no matter how much time you have you can’t see it all. But if you only have a short stay, you definitely want to maximize your time, so I’m sharing my best tips for spending only one day at Disney World!

The Best Aquarium in Florida: Clearwater Marine Aquarium

My kids love animals and are always up for a zoo, farm or aquarium visit. On our recent trip to Clearwater Florida, we were so excited to be able to visit the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and Marine Life Rescue Center– not just to see all the great sea life, but to learn about how they rehab animals! That’s right, the Clearwater Aquarium is more than just a place to go and look at marine animals – it a working sea animal rehab facility!
