I have personally been to all of these resorts, and can help you choose the best one for your trip. All of these are located in the Montego Bay area, which is close to the Sangster Airport. Unlike having to drive out to Negril or Ochos Rios, once you land in Jamaica, you will be at one of these resorts in no time!
And you can still book excursions out to Negril or Ochos Rios, so Montego Bay is a great, central location for exploring the island.

Sandals Montego Bay
Sandals is a Jamaican brand, with six resorts on the island and two in Montego Bay. Sandals Montego Bay is the larger of the two Montego Bay area Sandals, but if you stay at one, you can play at both (there is a free shuttle provided between the resorts).
Sandals Montego Bay has some amazing restaurants, an overwater bar, and a very long stretch of beach. Sandals is a luxury, adults only, all-inclusive brand, and everything here is top notch. For the ultimate in luxury, consider booking a Sandals butler level suite! Nobody does butler service better than Sandals.

Sandals Royal Caribbean
Sandals Royal Caribbean is a beautiful resort with a private island (accessible by all resort guests) and overwater bungalows. I like the intimate feel of this resort, and it prices out really well, especially the butler level rooms.
Guests at Sandals Royal Caribbean have access to Sandals Montego Bay, and there is a shuttle provided. There are also some great overwater gazebos for your destination wedding.

Breathless Montego Bay is a resort for sophisticated adults who like to have fun. Think foam parties, fashion shows, and great nightlife. Breathless guests have access to the beach at Secrets, and be sure to book into the Xhale club for access to the rooftop pool and bar.

Secrets Saint James
Secrets is more of a couples resort, although friend groups would have fun here. Secrets St. James and Secrets Wild Orchid are adjacent. On a small stretch of beach, those who book into the preferred club at these Secrets also have access to Breathless Montego Bay, located right across the way.

Secrets Wild Orchid

If a guest wants to escape to a quieter atmosphere, there’s free-slow access to Secrets St. James right next door, a relaxing and sophisticated ocean front getaway.

Zoetry Montego Bay
Zoetry Montego Bay is a very intimate resort with only 46 rooms. Technically an all ages resort, this resort leans heavily to adults only guests, so I am including it in this list.
Zoetry is a quiet resort with a beautiful spa, one main pool and a small beach. This is perfect for guests who really want a low-key, relaxing experience at a beautiful resort.

Best for: Couples, honeymoons, wellness oriented travelers
Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall
Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall is side by side with its family friendly counterpart, Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall. Zilara guests have access to both resorts. Located on a small beach, Zilara resorts are always top notch in terms of food and service. I loved the Hyatt Zilara Cancun (it’s one of my favorite resorts in the world) and cannot wait to come back to Jamaica and stay here!

Iberostar Grand Rose Hall
Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is the adults only tower in the larger Iberostar complex of two other family friendly towers. Grand guests have access to all three towers, so that gives guests a lot of restaurant, pool options, and a long stretch of beach to explore.
