In October 2021, after MANY months of anticipation, Virgin Voyages, an adults-only cruise line, will be setting sail with its first ship, the Scarlet Lady. I recently sailed on my first Disney Cruise! Of course, it was amazing, but before sailing I did a ton of research regarding what to expect and what to pack. I wanted to be super prepared for all the fun, and unlike a land trip, you can’t just run to the store if you forget something during your cruise vacation. My family had the best time on the Disney Wonder and I am excited to share what to pack for a Disney Cruise!

I could end the post here. But I am going to take a few more words to answer some common misconceptions about the best way to book a cruise.
A few months ago, the Momma To Go Family took an amazing 7-day Holland America Cruise aboard the ms Veendam. We travel a lot, and for us, this was a true vacation! But because we were hitting the high seas (without a Wal-Mart around the corner) I really, really spent a lot of time researching everything we needed to bring! And it is true, if you realize mid-cruise you need something, you are either going to be out of luck, or have to pay a premium in the cruise gift shop. We ended up having everything we needed (and not much more) so I am so excited to share with you my cruise packing list and the best cruise packing hacks!
We love to travel, explore new places, often visiting friends and family. But with our crazy fall, me sick then working full time (thankfully just temporarily – but it was crazy). I knew I wanted to do a real VACATION over spring break. I wanted to sit in a lounge chair, drink margaritas and relax!
And we knew a cruise would be the PERFECT way to check all those boxes!
